Sponsorship Programs

Horse shows are extremely expensive. There are many riders who have very big dreams and hold high goals such as someday riding on the Olympic Team, World Cup, hunter derbys, Young Riders, Pony Finals, Mcclays and competing in the GrandPrix show ring. For a rider to compete, qualify or work towards these goals, he/she must travel to A.A. shows held throughout the United States. These shows are very expensive, the cost of transportation, motel rooms, shavings, stall fees, entry fees and coaching fees can become financially impossible for a rider to afford. Our sponsorship will help riders with some of the cost, allowing them to compete at more shows. We have put together a wonderful sponsorship program and we have dedicated individuals who are working hard to create sponsorship packages and fundraisers. Our goal is to offer some support to riders and help them achieve their dreams.

Senior Sponsorship Team

The Senior team will be made up of five riders and tryouts for the team will be held in October of 2010 for the 2011 show year. The tryouts will consist of a series of riding tests. Tests are the following: all riders must ride a dressage test and show that they understand the fundamentals of dressage. Riders will be asked to ride a hunter and equitation course, riders will be asked to demonstrate a series of equitation tests. The last riding test will be a jumper course with a jump off, riders will be competing for the best time and cleanest round. In addition to the riding tests, all riders will have to take a written exam (open book).

Requirements for Senior Team Tryouts:

Riders must own/lease their horse
Riders must be in a riding/training program with Global Equestrians Riding School
Riders must be showing at 3' or higher
Riders will be asked to have two letters of recommendation
Riders must write a personal letter about themselves, their goals, accomplishments and why they want to make the team
Parents/parent of a rider under the age of eighteen must write a letter explaining why they want their child to make the team and how they will be involved with the shows, training ect.
Riders who make the team must help with the yearly fundraiser, calander signings and events to help with raising money.

Junior Sponsorship Team

Our Jr. Team is for all ages and levels of riders who want to show locally. Our Jr. Team sponorship will help riders get to the shows held in Utah. Local shows can be very expensive and we hope to help with eliminating some of the cost so riders can afford to go to more shows. The Jr. team is for everyone wanting to show, youth and adult riders. This is a great team for riders with big goals and who want to tryout for the SR. Team one day. Tryouts will be held in Oct of 2010 for the 2011 show year.

Requirements for Junior Team Tryouts:

Riders must be in a lesson/training program of Global Equestrians Riding School
Riders must be jumping cross rail or higher
Riders will have to demonstrate riding tests. Riders will only have to test in the division they are showing in. (hunter, Eq or dressage)
Riders must do a low level dressage test
Riders will have a open book test (different test levels for different riding levels)
Riders will be required to write a letter about why they want to be on the team
Riders on the Jr. team must agree to help with the fundraisers, calander signings and other activites.
Parents/parent of minor riders must write a letter explaining their involvement ane how they will help support and be active with the team.
